Resources firm Po Valley Energy has successfully raised AUD$10 million as it looks to push through major Italian gas projects.

According to the Perth-based group, more than 8.3 million shares were issued at AUD$1.20 each to investors.

When conducting fundraising, Po Valley could potentially have benefited from using an Ansarada virtual data room - which can help businesses to complete transactions swiftly and securely.

The company said in a statement: "The new funds will be used to keep debt levels low, whilst driving Po Valley's proven Castello and Sillaro gas fields into production, and drilling the company's larger scale Bezzecca gas appraisal project in northern Italy."

Chief executive of the group Michael Masterman could also commit as much as AUD$1 million in new shares as part of the raising.

Elsewhere, the British property giant Land Securities launched a rights issue last week in a bid to secure over £755 million in capital.ADNFCR-1221-ID-19040370-ADNFCR
