A great evening in Chicago hosting customers at Wrigley Field with our MD, Justin Smith. While technology powers transactions, relationships still power dealmaking. Over food, drinks and nine innings of baseball, we spent time with investment bankers, advisors and corporate leaders discussing the trends shaping M&A, capital raising and strategic transactions across North America. There is something refreshing about stepping away from the boardrooms and connecting with customers in a different environment. Some of the best conversations happen between innings, not meetings.
