Account Executive - AUS (Investment Banks)
IT & Telecomms | Sydney | Permanent / Full Time | 4 Sept 2026
We’re not looking for someone who’s planning to try AI one day. We’re hiring someone who already uses it to work faster, prepare better, and win smarter — and who wants to keep pushing that edge in one of the most relationship-driven, high-stakes sales environments in tech.
This is a full-cycle AE role covering our Deals product — the platform of choice for M&A, capital raising, insolvency, private equity, and complex corporate transactions. You’ll build and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts across law, accounting, real estate, and investment banking in APAC. And you’ll do it faster and more effectively because AI is genuinely embedded in how you work.
How AI changes this role You’re not just an AE. You’re what modern selling looks like.
The best AEs in M&A used to spend hours on account research, proposal drafting, and follow-up prep. In this team, AI handles the heavy lifting — so you spend your time on the judgment calls, relationships, and deal strategy that actually move the needle.
Prospecting and outreach: sharper targeting, less grunt work
Use AI to research accounts, map decision-maker landscapes, and draft personalised outreach sequences in minutes — so you hit inboxes with relevance, not volume.
Deal prep: walk into every conversation over-prepared
AI synthesises discovery notes, surfaces competitive context, auto-drafts tailored proposals and follow-ups, and helps you map stakeholder priorities before every call — so you show up with the right conversation, not a generic pitch.
Pipeline management: visibility without the admin
AI-generated deal summaries, next-step briefs, and CRM updates mean you spend less time reporting and more time closing. Your pipeline stays clean without it costing you hours.
What you’ll do Own the full sales cycle:
3+ years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in financial services, legal tech, or a deal-adjacent environment. Proven track record of exceeding quota. Strong understanding of M&A, capital raising, or complex transaction workflows. Excellent communicator who can hold a room with senior stakeholders.
Your AI fluency should include:
