Ansarada is introducing support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), providing a standard way for compatible AI tools to connect with permitted information in Ansarada.
Users can connect an MCP-compatible AI client using their Ansarada login and consent, allowing supported tools to access information based on the user's existing Ansarada access. MCP access is enabled per Data Room on request — there is no self-serve toggle, and once turned on it applies to every role in that room, not just admins. Room administrators should treat enabling MCP as a room-wide decision and confirm it's appropriate for that deal before requesting activation.
In this first phase, the connection is read-only and provides access to a defined set of information, including profile information, accessible Data Rooms and the document index within a selected room.
MCP Phase 1 does not provide access to document content, write or management actions, or self-serve control over which rooms have it enabled. It is a focused first step towards giving customers greater flexibility in how Ansarada can work with the AI tools they choose to use.
