David’s diverse experience brings valuable insight and practical support to business contemplating a merger, acquisition or divestment.

David has an extensive range of corporate transaction and operational integration skills and experience, having been both an executive and a consultant to local and global enterprises across a variety of industries including broadcasting, publishing and distribution, professional and financial services.

Prior to becoming a principal at Seaview Consulting, David’s previous roles include Chief Financial and Operations Officer for both a listed broking firm and a $1B Credit Union. David has overseen and managed multiple strategic change programs including business restructuring, divestment, mergers and acquisitions.

David spent six years in London as an independent consultant working on a range of divestment and acquisition projects for various Alternative Investment Market listed businesses, as well as assignments for The Economist and BBC Worldwide. David also played a significant role in the restructuring of BBC World.

David, was a Chartered Accountant for 25 years and gained professional qualifications in Accounting, Corporate Governance, Project Management and Finance and has acted as both a Responsible Officer and Executive within financial services, stockbroking and banking.

He has participated and chaired various committees including Corporate Investment, Credit Committee, Asset and Liability Committee, Compliance Committees and Operational Risk Committees.
